These boxes are reproductions of WWII D-ration boxes used all throughout WWII. They are great for displays and in-the-field use. (If you're going to put something in them, we recommend squares of baker's semi-sweet chocolate. That's not exact, but baker's chocolate is pretty close.) Each box comes to you flat, so you just have to un-flatten it, glue one end, fill the box with chocolate if desired, and then glue the other end.

Note: If you're filling your D-ration box with chocolate and are concerned about food safety, use good ol' Elmer's white glue because it is non-toxic. Otherwise, rubber cement works well also.
